Week 17 Dr. BigMac’s NFL Power Rankings

Welcome back to Dr. BigMac’s NFL Power Rankings and thirst traps to go along with said team. What’s better than football and boobs? Let’s dive in!

10. Los Angeles Chargers 9-6 (Not Ranked)

The Chargers are quietly putting themselves into the playoffs and no one is talking about it. Big win against Denver and with game against the Patriots and Raiders to finish off the season, Jim Harbaugh in his 1st year is….. will be taking the Chargers to the playoffs.

9. Pittsburgh Steelers 10-5 (9th)

Is the magic wearing off on the Pittsburgh Steelers season? Losers of 2 straight, now take on the Chiefs and Bengals. Currently the 3 spot for the playoffs, if they lose out the Steelers could fall to 7th. Will Russ start to cook again?

8. Baltimore Ravens 10-5 (not ranked)

The award for most hot and cold team in the NFL this season goes to the Ravens. They are a power house one week the next they are frauds. Who will show up in the playoffs. Like the Steelers, they could be any where from 3rd to 7th for the playoffs depending how the next 2 games go against the Texans and Browns.

7. Washington Commanders 10-5 (not ranked)

In the NFL, a win is a win no matter who you play. So even if it was against Kenny Picket, since Jalen got knocked out early, all that matters is that W in the win column. Jayden Daniels continues his case for rookie of the year after another great game.

6. Philadelphia Eagles 12-3 (1st)

Last week the Eagles were in my number 1 spot, this week they fall 5 spots. Losing your QB for possibly a game or 2 and having injuries all over the defensive side of the ball, it’s not the best time for all this to happen. Eagles looking like they were a lock for the 2 seed are now going to have to win out to hope to secure that with Washington right behind them. Cowboys and Giants to finish off the season.

5. Green Bay Packers 11-4 (6th)

Copy and what I said for the Chargers. The Packers are letting the other two teams in their division beat each other up while they are quietly making there way to the playoffs where they could be David and slay Goliath. The Packers defense just shut out the Saints on Monday night football, the Packers are one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now.

4. Kansas City Chiefs 14-1 (5th)

I’m trying something this week. Instead of showing a dumb photo of the Mahomes, I am now going to give them a thirst trap and a compliment. They are the best 14 win team in the NFL. Hopefully this reverses the jinx.

3. Buffalo Bills 12-3

The Bills almost fell into that trap game against the Patriots. But luckily the Bills were playing the Patriots that never adjust after the 1st half and can’t stop the run and the Bills came out on top. I’d the Chiefs win on Christmas I can see the Bills resting players week 18 since they will have the 2 Seed locked up and playing again the shitty Patriots.

2. Minnesota Vikings 13-2 (2nd)

Even if you had Marty McPhly’s sports almanac you wouldn’t believe that a Sam Darnold led team would be 13-2 and fighting for the 1 seed of the 2024 NFL season. Coach of the Year, Come Back Player of the Year, Defensive Coordinator of the Year will all come from Minnesota and no one would argue that.

1.Detroit Lions 13-2 (1st)

The Kings of the NFC North stay atop the power rankings this week. The week 18 game against the Vikings will be the most watched Lions game in the history of the team. Hope they don’t get burned by the trap game this week against the 49ers
