With The 1st Pick, The Patriots Select……

For the 2nd time in the franchise’s history, the New England Patriots will be drafting 1st in the NFL draft. Back in 1993 the Patriots needed a franchise QB and selected Drew Bledsoe, in the 2025 draft we don’t need that so who should the Patriots draft?

Since we don’t need a QB but the two teams behind us do with the New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders, you get the biggest haul possible so they can draft, Cam Ward or Jalen Milroe.

This is a very weak quarterback draft. It’s not like last years where there are hits later on, instead you got 2 or 3 possible decent NFL starters. But I look at the Carolina and Bears trade. Bryce Young was “the guy” and the Panthers gave a haul to the Bears to draft him.

Wouldn’t you want something similar to this for the Patriots? Fall back a few spots, still draft the biggest and baddest Left Tackle in the draft, get a true number 1 wide receiver and get a plethora of picks in future 1st and 2nd rounders. Will the Giants or Raiders do this? Or a mystery team. I think you could get something similar to this from any of these organizations, the Patriots just need a GM that can facilitate this deal. Get the biggest haul possible.
